Troop 255 will be heading to Timberline West Virginia again this year
for President's day weekend. This is a terrific trip and it's a good
year for snow! You need to sign up early for this trip as we need to
submit payment to the mountain.
It's a good year for snow! Timberline provides skiers and
snowboarders a peak elevation of 4,268 feet, 200 inches of average
annual snowfall and a vertical drop of 1000 feet. Three lifts service
37 runs spread out over 100 acres of skiable terrain. Scouts,
families, and friends are welcome on this trip which is ideal for both
new and experienced ski/boarders.
We have 20 spaces in the men's bunkhouse and 10 in the woman's, and itwill be first come, first serve. Families are invited, and we will
need two male adults to volunteer to stay in the men's bunkhouse (but
can have more)
Please sign up by Jan 20th.
